After seven successful years of trade show, Ecobuild SEA expo returns in a new avatar, presenting a grand focus on construction-related technologies beyond its earlier focus on sustainability in the built environment. Now known as the Futurebuild SEA, the expo’s prime highlight will be centred on innovations and futuristic technologies that are set to revolutionise the global built environment by increasing efficiencies, reducing costs and enhancing productivity. Held alongside the Heavy Mach trade fair, the Futurebuild SEA expo is the region’s best avenue where construction industry players will be able to get valuable insights on new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality (VR), robotics and many more.

ASEAN Super 8 is a common platform. I can see electrical, machinery, construction and elevator companies coming together. This is good because our company is engaged with all these different profiles of all types of business segment. This is a good platform. This is the first time I came and I find out it is a good exhibition.

Sr. Manager – International Business (visitor)

Of course, from the exhibition we are very much looking forward not only to let people know about our products but also educate our customers knowing about the technologies and the new era we are stepping on. We believe the collaboration with CIDB and also ASEAN Super 8, we are able to create more opportunities for this industry moving forward. We hope that the collaboration can be improved in the next year.

Equipment Sales Specialist (Exhibitor)

Many years ago, we came here with another company and this is the first time we did it on our own. With this success, we are very glad to come here, so maybe for future exhibitions we are thinking to come again. We wish to find good distributors and sell our products through them. So, around Malaysia, we are selling to come countries and we wish to corporate with some companies in the Malaysia market.

Levent Gurbuz

General Manager – EZT Elektrik (exhibitor)

I think ASEAN Super 8 is a good effort from the organiser because it consolidate different industry and different topic in one place. And I think a lot of interrelation between all of these industries, so it is easier for the visitors to get to know the products that have been showcased here.

Trade Consultant- Korea Trade Agency (visitor)

ASEAN Super 8 introduces new materials for buildings, so I am here actually to find out more on this. I find this mixture of products very informative because you don’t really get involved in just one industry.

Manager Operation – Saikris Group, Malaysia (Visitor)

We are actually showcasing our MRCB building system, which is a new way towards the future of construction, basically building and moving the work of construction away from the site and bringing it to the factory. We have a lot of VIPs visiting us from various departments and ministries. They come to see what we got. I think we are very happy that they could come and see for themselves, because we feel that this exhibition tells the country there is a better way to go forward in construction.

Dato’ Sri Ir. Dr. Judin Abdul Karim

Executive Vice President Group Managing Director Office MRCB – (exhibitor)
